Painting Contractor in New Bedford, MA
Call Jorge, tell him what needs doing, and it gets done right the first time: careful prep, crisp lines, two to three coats, and a clean house when the crew leaves.
Owner-led painting and finish work for homes and businesses across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The name is the promise
Yes We Can Painting is Jorge's company, and Jorge is on every job. He answers the phone himself, often on weekends too, so the person you describe the job to is the person who prices it, plans it and makes sure it's done right.
Most of what we do is painting, inside and out. Around it, the same crew handles the work that usually means calling someone else — sheetrock and taping, masonry, ceramic tile, flooring and finish carpentry — so one call covers the whole job, on one schedule.

Done right the first time
Prep, paint, clean-up. The next time something needs painting, you know who to call.
Painting inside and out, plus the work around it — one crew, one schedule.
Interior and exterior painting, deck staining and sealing, masonry, sheetrock and taping, ceramic tile and flooring, for homes and for businesses. Pick a service to see how we handle it.

Interior Painting
Walls, ceilings, trim, doors and cabinets. Prep and priming first, then two to three coats with crisp, clean lines.
Exterior Painting
Scraping, wood repair and pressure washing, then brush or spray application — including weathered, coastal surfaces.
Deck Staining & Sealing
Decks, porches and pergolas power washed, then stained and sealed so the wood is protected for the seasons ahead.
Masonry
Chimneys, steps and stoops, retaining and garden walls, patios and walkways, and brick and stone repair and repointing.
Sheetrock & Taping
Sheetrock hung, taped and finished with joint compound, so new walls are smooth and ready for paint.
Ceramic Tile
Ceramic tile in bathrooms and kitchens, on floors and backsplashes, from the crew that handles your paint.
Flooring
All types of flooring, inside and out: hardwood sanding and refinishing, laminate, and porch, patio and deck surfaces.

Why customers call Jorge back
Prep comes first
Scraping, sanding, patching and priming before any colour goes on. It's the part you don't see, and the reason the finish lasts.
Crisp lines, two to three coats
Clean edges where walls meet ceilings and trim, and as many coats as the surface needs.
Every nook and cranny
Corners, trim and the awkward spots get the same care as the big, easy walls.

Hard surfaces welcome
Weathered wood, coastal spray jobs timed around the weather, and historic buildings that need a careful hand.
One crew, fewer contractors
Paint, sheetrock, masonry, tile, flooring and finish carpentry from one team, on one schedule.
On schedule, cleaned up
The crew keeps to the timeline you're given and leaves the place clean when the job is done.
Painting for South Coast homes
New Bedford's houses are a mix of triple-deckers, Victorians, capes and ranches, with brick buildings downtown, and a lot of them are old. An old house usually carries many layers of paint, and wood that has spent years in the salt air off Buzzards Bay. So a paint job here starts with what's underneath: loose paint scraped back, soft wood repaired, bare spots primed.
Outside, the weather decides a lot. Paint needs the right conditions to cure, and spray work near the water needs calm air. As one coastal customer put it: "They worked with me to time the weather perfectly." Inside, older walls often need patching or taping before paint, which is why sheetrock work is part of what we do.
