Which rooms or parts of the building, and what they need: paint, repairs, stain, tile, flooring or masonry.
Rough size
The number of rooms, how many storeys the house is, the size of the deck or patio. A guess is fine.
What it's like now
Peeling paint, water damage, cracks, rot, old layers: anything that needs fixing before the new finish goes on.
Home or business
And anything about access: parking, stairs, or times when the work can and can't happen.
Timing
When you'd like it done, and any date it has to be finished by.
Where it is
The town or city, so Jorge can plan a visit if the job needs one.
A few things that help, job by job
Every job is different, but these details make the first conversation quicker:
- Interior painting: which rooms, whether ceilings and trim are included, and any walls that need repair.
- Exterior painting: how many storeys, what the siding is, and where the paint is peeling.
- Decks and porches: roughly how big, and when it was last stained or sealed, if you know.
- Masonry: what it is, what's wrong with it, and roughly how big it is.
